Iowa Meat Goat Association Show
September 8, 2007
This was the fourth annual show put on by the Iowa Meat Goat Association, held in Washington, IA.
There were 200 plus head at the show with most of the participants from Iowa and few from Illinois.
It was sanctioned by the American Boer Goat Association with David Carwell as the Judge.

If you are looking for a place to see some quality goats and enjoy an awesome show,
this is place to stop at next year.

Jasper's First

How did Dad do?
This show was a great way to end the year. Gathering with all the friends that we have made through out the
years and just enjoy a good 'ole time.

We did well.

Maggie took a second in the IMGA show and a first in Tall Corn Show the following day.

Maggnificient took second and her sister Sassy was fourth.

Out of the 8 does that we shown they all placed in the top half of their class. It was a fun time.

After the show on Saturday we had a potluck bar-b-que with those that stuck around for the Tall Corn Show.
If you get a chance to make it down to this show it is worth it. Hopefully we can get them to move it further to
the Northwest part of the state.
